Our Mission

At Grace International Baptist Church (GIBC), we exist to glorify God and make disciples of all nations through the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

We are a multicultural and multigenerational church community committed to:

Rooted in the Great Commandment and the Great Commission, we desire to be a church that loves God deeply, loves people sincerely, and lives out the Gospel faithfully.

Our Purpose

The purpose of GIBC is to unite under the commission of Jesus Christ to “make disciples of all nations” through:

Evangelism

Sharing the Gospel in word and deed, inviting people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Education

Teaching God’s Word and equipping believers to serve with their gifts, skills, and resources.

Edification

Gathering for worship, fellowship, prayer, and spiritual growth as the Body of Christ.

A Vision for Renewal

Over the past season, God has been renewing and restoring our church family through prayer, fellowship, outreach, discipleship, and community engagement.

As we move forward together, we believe God is calling GIBC to become:

  • A worshipping church rooted in the love of God

  • A serving church that builds one another up in Christ

  • A missional church reaching our neighborhood and the nations with the Gospel

We desire to be a welcoming spiritual home where people from all backgrounds can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and serve together in love.

Looking Ahead

As a church family, we continue to pray, discern, and seek the leading of the Holy Spirit for the next season of ministry at GIBC.

We believe God has placed us in the heart of a diverse and growing community for His purpose, and we look forward to serving Vancouver and beyond with the love of Christ.
